What is the weight capacity of this power jack?

Is this power jack suitable for all types of trailers?
Answer: As long as your trailer weight is under 3,500 lbs, this power jack should work for your trailer. -
Question:
What is the outside diameter of the main tube?
Answer: The outside tube is 2 1/4", the inner tube is 2". The length from the flange to the bottom of the 2 1/4" tube is 6 3/4". Make sure you check both the diameter of your lower hole as well as the distance from the lower hole to the upper hole. In spot checking several RVs around here, most were between 4" and 6" in depth making this jack unusable. -

Does this jack come with a way to raise or lower it in case the motor fails?
Answer: Easy to crank and you will probably need to. Cheap motor- mine died after using it for about 5 times. -

Does the manual crank handle connect on top of the unit or the side of unit when using?
Answer: It connects on top. -

What is the measurement of main tube below the mounting plate with everything retracted?
Answer: 9.5 inches from the bottom of the foot to the bottom of the mounting plate. -

Jack came without instructions. Connected the lone wire to the positive terminal of a new battery but it does not work. Is there a manual?
Answer: One of 2 things may be wrong. Most likely is a poor ground connection. You need to use the star washers. Place a flat washer onto the bolt, then a star washer, then down thru the hole in the mounting plate and the frame of your trailer. You might need to scrape a little paint off of painted parts where the star washer meets the jack. Otherwise, you can check the online fuse (bulge on the wire) to see if it is broken or blown. -
Question:
Is this a universal hook up? Three bolts?
Answer: 3 bolts in a triangular pattern.
