LOreal Paris Superior Preference Permanent Hair Color in the shade 8S Soft Silver Blonde is a great product with pleasing results. The particular shade has a cool-ash tone instead of reddish gold. There is no need to leave it on for as long as the instructions say as 15 minutes is fine. Spread it to the ends and rinse it off while taking a warm shower. However, one user's hair still pulled brassy, and it didn't lighten the hair much. Another user's hair turned strawberry blonde instead of light golden blonde, but they were pleased with the results. Another user got this product for their sister in-laws and was happy with the outcomes. The application process was easy, and the conditioner was smooth and lightly scented. The product is gentle on fine hair and didn't cause any damage. Another user liked how easy it was to use. This product darkened the user's hair instead of lightening it, and the color on the box didn't match up. One user's package arrived damaged with the tip of the bottle actually broken off. Finally, the last user of the product used the shade 6A (light ash brown) on their virgin hair, but it didn't do anything for their hair. It made their hair appear lighter, and they wasted their time and money.
