Question:
Is the ink safe to use?
Answer: Yes, all of SPD's fabric printing inks are Non Phthalate, PVC Free, Eco-Friendly, and Vegan. -
Question:
What is the Pro Tip for using this ink?
Answer: Create something wonderful using the water based inks and WR-Blue Emulsion. For clean-up, use the Ecotex Water Based Screen Cleaner to wash away the fabric ink. Then use SPD's Emulsion Remover to wash away the emulsion. -
Question:
Where is this ink made?
Answer: All Ecotex printmaking ink is made in the USA and hand-scooped by SPD's finest. -
Question:
Is this available in a matte black, water base?
Answer: We currently do not have a matte black in water base ink. -
Question:
Can you also mix this ink into plastisol which is oil based?
Answer: No this is not recommended. It may affect cure time and the ink may crack on the garment. -
Question:
Can I use this ink on corrugated signs?
Answer: We would not recommend using this ink on corrugated sign. -
Question:
Will this ink bond to 100% polyester?
Answer: I tried it, and it will start flaking after a few washes. I would not recommended it. -

Does this ink work on 100% cotton t-shirts?
Answer: Yes. -

Why did the color fade on my light gray sweaters after the first wash?
Answer: Water base discharge takes about a minute and a half cure time at around 330 degrees. Are the sweaters 100% cotton? Discharge only works on 100% cotton. -

Is this actually discharge ink? Package just says waterbased but description says waterbased discharge ink not sure if actually discharge paint.
Answer: Warm Red is ready to use straight from the container. If you add the discharge activator it can be used as a discharge ink as well. -

What do you mean by this item cannot be discharged? Can this be poured into a spraying device?
Answer: No this cannot be poured into a spraying device.
