The Sunrise Simulation Alarm Clock is a great product that offers a variety of options for users. You can set it up without sunrise simulation, with seven options to choose from, which includes an alarm ring without sunrise simulation. The night light is optional and can be completely off overnight. Unfortunately, it only supports one alarm setting and the military time can't be turned off. The light is bright enough to see things clearly in the tent, but not bright enough to read in the tent. Once you turn the alarm off, you can just touch the top of the lamp, and the light will come back on, which you can use separately from the alarm. It has to be plugged in for the light to work, and it doesn't have to be reset after it has been unplugged for a short amount of time.
