Question:
Will the 0-3 month size still fit a 1 yr old? Need them for a couple months of winter when our baby is born. Hoping they'll still fit the next winter.
Answer: If you want them to stretch / stay long, then not put them in the washing machine! Gently soak in soapy water/ hand wash only. Also, if the legs are short, wear wool long underwear and tall wool ski socks to make up for it. My tall 6 year old still wears his first pair( 2-3 years) as knickers with tall rain boots! -

How often do you wash them? Thanks!
Answer: I don’t wash them much at all! My kid wears long underwear underneath. He wears them twice a week to Waldorf preschool where he needs to be warm. But he often also wears rain pants on top so the wool pants don’t get very dirty. My washing machine delicate cycle is still too fast for these pants. The first pair I bought when kid was 3 and ended up shrinking a little. He has grown a lot but still wears them as knickers with tall socks. When I wash this new pair, I will press them into a sink of hot water with soap and leave them until the water is only warm. The hot water loosens the fibers and lets the dirt fall into the water. -
Question:
How tight are these? Will they fit over a base layer of silk leggings for extra warmth?
Answer: They are not very tight at all. They have A LOT of give since they are ribbed. They should fit over silk leggings no problem.
