This crimping tool is a great choice for home usage, but not recommended for industrial use. It works well with picture frame wire, string trimmer line, and can crimp double-barrel sleeves. However, it cannot crimp 1/8 inch aluminum sleeves or cut 1/8 inch wire rope. The tool comes with a mix of ferrule sizes and can only cut wire ropes 1/16" and below. The tool is well built, easy to use and effective. It includes a locking mechanism for carrying in a bag, pocket, or tool pouch.
