The medium model has more X and Y travel than the large model as it has thinner plastic parts. The table is made of aluminum, which can cause chattering while milling, making it somewhat slow work. However, for the price, it is a solid little unit that moves very nice and does the job. Some customers had concerns with the hold-downs and stops that come with it, and some found it difficult to secure what they were trying to mill. The large version of this table works great on a 12” drill press for hole alignment and light milling, providing solid Construction for its size.
