    Answer: No, the kit comes with assembly instructions and all required parts.

    Answer: In the description of the product it says the maximum input is 50 volts. I think 20 volts will be ok.

    Answer: The DSO 138 DIY Oscilloscope Kit is sold by different vendors in many different forms. You can get it as a ready-to-use unit, or with a completed board but you'll need to assemble the case, or as a kit where you need to solder in all the components and assemble the case. You need to read the description from the vendor you chose to see which version they are offering.
  • Question: at 9 volts what the current draw of this unit ?

    Answer: It is minimal, but it will drain a 9V battery in no time. It is much better with a plug in power supply.
  • Question: is the probe switchable between 1X and 10X?

    Answer: No it is a 1x meter lead and reads up to 0-5volts A/C or DC.
