If you're planning on using this product along with API's Quick Start, the key is to use Dr. Tim's first and allow a day or two before adding Quick Start. It is the same as the One & Only for Nano and seahorses, but make sure to only mix with biological filter media such as live rock and ceramic rings, not the chemical or mechanical media. Additionally, if you are doing a fishless cycle, there is no need to leave the lights on. However, the product doesn't come with Ammonia, so it needs to be purchased separately. Reviews: - Worked amazing, always cycles my reef tank quickly, helps lower ammonia. - Best product, balanced out water in no time, plan on buying again. - Followed directions and dosed ammonia, worked well, fish happy. - My 125 gal marine aquarium does well continuously using DR Tim's products. - Expired products have been shipped, so buyers should check the expiration date. - A few users dislike that the product doesn't work, however, the vast majority had a good experience with it.
