Question:
I have tried multiple style bulbs (all E26 and under 60W per the description) but only one type works. What reason would that be?
Answer: It's been a while but I don't remember any issues with this. We are always changing out these cords for different type bulbs. I actually have a plant gro light bulb in it now. Ikea has some good options if that's available to you. -
Question:
Does this also come in white?
Answer: When I purchased it, it came as a white cord and black socket/Shade connector. -
Question:
Can the cord be cut below the on/off switch so that it can be hardwired to a socket controlled by a light switch?
Answer: It could be if you know what you are doing or have an electrician on hand. Personally, I wouldn’t try to hard wire this plug. You can purchase a “swag kit” from Home Depot that has the exposed wires that you can hard wire. -
Question:
What is the diameter of the E-26 socket ring that screws on to the shade?
Answer: It is a standard diameter (it fits appropriately snug around the socket that holds the bulb). -
Question:
How far is the on/off switch from the plug?
Answer: It’s about half way down. Maybe a little closer to the plug. It’s not in a horrible inconvenient place. I definitely wouldn’t use it on any thing more than 6ft. -
Question:
Will the the light socket fit onto any lampshade?
Answer: I think most are compatible.
