Answer: No, it is not recommended for use on parts in contact with gasoline. -

How long does it take to dry and cure?
Answer: Silicone dries in 1 hour and fully cures in 24 hours at 70°F - 50% relative humidity. Allow more time in cold weather. -
Question:
What happens if the gasket maker is over tightened?
Answer: Over tightening bolts can squeeze out the silicone, so it is advised not to over tighten. Re-torque will not be necessary.
