Answer: When I purchased it, It was a box of 1.53 oz. packs. Sorry if this isn't any help, but I bought a box of numerous packs, all 1.53 oz. packs. Packaged like you see on the shelf at the grocery store or gas station. -

Answer: Yes, it was 6 bags that I opened and put in one big jar. -
