Will the R81 8Ch receiver bind to the Radiomaster TX16s?
Answer: Yes, it certainly will bind to the Radiomaster TX16s. You have to apply power and press the tiny bind button at the same time. It will start flashing and then go over to the transmitter and click the bind. You will need to use the FrSky D8 protocol. -

Can I put the R81 8Ch receiver on the Emax Babyhawk 2 and fly it with the Emax e8 controller?
Answer: Yes, you should be able to. The R81 8Ch receiver is an FRSKY D8 protocol receiver and the Emax e8 is an FRSKY compatible transmitter.

The receivers are said to have a vast range, and they're small, which makes them perfect for small quads. They are easy to install and have worked well for some customers, with some still functioning up to two years later after many crashes and getting wet and dirty. However, many customers have reported that the receivers were not working when they received them. Some report that it was impossible to bind with Radiomaster tx16s MKII, and connecting caused bad connections and critical signal loss.
