The Kizen Digital Meat Thermometer is a multi-use, easy-to-read, waterproof thermometer that takes the guesswork out of cooking. However, it is a spot check thermometer and cannot be used as a leave-in oven thermometer. To change the battery and care for the thermometer, use a coin to open the battery compartment and insert a 3V CR2032 battery. To care for the thermometer, wash only metal probe by hand and do not immerse completely in water. It can be used for baking bread, meats, and fish but the battery life can be extended if shut off immediately after taking a reading, and it does not have a lifetime warranty.
