However, the carriage can be secured by drilling and tapping a set screw. The block requires an M5 screw with a maximum length of 15mm. Customers have reported successful use of the product for router sleds, surface grinders, and other DIY projects. However, one user received the product bent, which made it difficult for their free-floating operation. Another user found that the 600mm length was too short and returned it for a longer length.
