The texture is runnier than many others out there, but it hardens quite nicely, taking up to 12 or more hours to completely harden if put on in a pooling situation. The product is not suitable for use on car convertible cloth roofs, closed loop belts for CNC machines, or plastics under stress/moving parts. The glue works very well on leather, rubber, some silicones, wood (untreated), nitril, and gaskets of many types. The adhesion is strong and quite flexible when pressed on. However, it may not work well on plastics under stress/moving parts. One customer used it to bond rubber shoe heels and another to bond plastic and metal to wood, with great results. Some customers complained that the adhesive is too thin and does not harden fully, while others said that it is too expensive for what it is. One customer followed the directions to glue rubber grips onto a metal handlebar, but the result was slippery grips slipping in and out and round and round. Overall, the product works very well for bonding rubber to other materials, but its performance may depend on the specific application.
