Geekworm Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminum Case is an excellent choice for those who want a heavily cooled and sturdy Raspberry Pi case. The team at Geekworm recommends using a 1.5mm copper heat sink with the thermal paste instead of using the provided thermal pads. The case is made of aluminum alloy, and the signal strength for on-board WiFi has not changed significantly. However, the Bluetooth connectivity is decrease in the enclosed metal case. The size of the box is not matched a bit, and SD Card may be blocked by the case and inaccessible, but it is usable. Copper heat sinks improve the cooling performance by 5-10 degrees, and it is usable for lightweight projects that do not need fans to prevent overheating, but it may outperform with fans. The build quality is excellent, and the passive cooling system maintains low CPU temperatures even with heavy usage. However, one receives slight cooling difference with FLIRC cases, which is crucial if thermal performance matters.
