These shorts are described as moderately loose, not tight like bike shorts, and not as baggy as some running shorts. The length of size L from crotch to bottom is 7.5in, and from waist to bottom is 19in. The pocket liner is not fixed and can be removed or reinserted relatively easily. The zippers are tight at first, but after a while, they can be opened and closed with one hand. The pockets are deep enough to carry a phone and gels, and they do not swing from side to side while running. The liner is mesh and light, and the fabric is comfortable and soft.
