Answer: The paper is compatible only with black and white laser printers with an iron oxide based toner. Single function laser printers usually produce the best results. It is important to research the toner used before buying a printer. -

What can I do to ensure the best results while using the paper?
Answer: Heat up your printer first by running 6 or 7 test prints on regular paper. Use on light colored glass for better contrast. -

Does this work for ceramics? Will the image be permanent at cone 06?
Answer: Yes, it should work. It needs to be fired to 1250 - 1300 degrees for permanence. -
Question:
I’m firing between 1250/1450 with a 5-10 minute hold and it turn to dust. capping is a bandaid fix. any suggestions?
Answer: Sorry, I personally did not face this issue. Ensure you remove the paper and leave only the clear part before firing. -
Question:
How do I use this photo paper?
Answer: You need a printer with high iron content toner. After printing, let it dry for 24hrs. Fire at 1385 degrees to set. -

Is this for a high or low firing schedule? any schedules to share?
Answer: For a better sepia color, a low fire schedule around 1315 degrees works well. Also, dust the decal with clear powder before firing. -
Question:
Why is my image washing off after firing?
Answer: Try increasing the firing temperature and time slightly to help set the image. -
Question:
Can I use regular waterslide paper?
Answer: No, regular waterslide paper might not work for this process. You need specific photo paper for ceramics.
Delphi Glass Photo Paper Editorial Review
The decal paper is an excellent and creative tool for crafting. The paper works great on glass and ceramics with a smooth surface, and a firing temperature of 1300+ degrees Fahrenheit. One user found that a low-fire schedule (1315 degrees Fahrenheit) provided them with a better sepia color. Before firing, the decal must be soaked in water, the decal should be applied to the surface, let dry, and then fused normally. Though the product may not be as clear about some details. For example, some customers received a different impression of what the product was going to be, which made it hard for them to use it for their work. Others didn't find it so useful when it came to finding a suitable copier/toner to use with it. In conclusion, it is an ingenious product for creating unique and personalized designs for glass and ceramics as long as there is a suitable printer and an understanding of the firing process.
