Question:
Mine cures soft and bendable. Is this normal?
Answer: NO is should be hard after it cures..either you are not mixing it long enough(make sure you scrape the sides and bottom while mixing) or your ratio is off -

Is this a bottle resin with glue ? What is A and B on bottles?
Answer: It's a 2 part epoxy. You have to mix the 2 bottles together to make the epoxy -
Question:
Will this work for making dominoes when adding acrylic paint to the resin?
Answer: Yes this does work with acrylic paints! -
Question:
Hows the viscosity when mixed? Does it pour easily? I need a runny mix for small molds i made out of plaster.
Answer: I'm new also, I've heard you need to warm up the resin. I joined a few Facebook resin groups. -
Question:
It’s been over 24 hours and it’s still not hard? I used the right ratios and everything
Answer: You have to make sure your room temperature isn't hot. 70 degrees or moreso cooler than warm. I use this brand all the time and I never had issues until I thought my room being hot didn't make a difference. Either keep it on your window sill or put a fan on it to keep cool. -
Question:
Do I need to use a respirator with this resin?
Answer: I’m late to this but you ABSOLUTELY need to use a respirator with every single kind of resin you use. It’s extremely toxic and can cause permanent damage if you don’t -
Question:
How long dry time in between coats? Should I wait 24hrs or more?
Answer: You should only wait long enough for it to start setting up but remains sticky so the other coats of resin stick. A couple of hours would be good for this resin as it sets faster. If you let it set too long and it hardens up you will have to sand it and rough it up for the resin to stick and not show a line. -
Question:
Will uv lights help this cure faster?
Answer: I believe so but don’t know to what extent. -
Question:
Is this brand ok with extreme heat? I live in Arizona and need an epoxy that i can use and send the end results to customers without the fear of heat
Answer: Sorry , Maybe cannot 100% heat resistance.
