Is this variable speed, if not can a reastat be added?
Answer: It is a single speed. Donʻt know about adding a rheostat. It does not push a lot of air so not sure why youʻd want to slow it down. -

Answer: Yes, this RV cooling fan can be used to vent a shower. -

Answer: This particular model is a 12 volt DC model. There are 110 AC models available. -

Does this take batteries?
Answer: It is a 12 volt fan. So it needs a 12 volt source. It can be hooked to a 12 volt battery but there is no on or off switch. This will not work with standard household wiring without a converter to change the voltage. -

How does the 2-way feature work? Is there a switch?
Answer: The two-way inlet fan is a silent fan, and the outlet fan is a strong exhaust fan. There is no switch, but it can be connected separately.
