It comes with all the hardware needed for assembly, but some customers have reported missing parts and pieces with some holes not properly done. The instructions are only pictures, but the bed is easy to assemble with almost everything labeled. Most customers were able to assemble it within 2-3 hours with power tools, with one customer spending 6 hours alone. The bed is not too high, making it safe for kids.
