The cable has a black poly outer jacket and a second PVC inner jacket for maximum protection against UV rays and moisture. It is also resistant to puncturing and can be easily identified by color codes with sequential markings that help in installation. However, this cable can be difficult to bend and requires a special termination tool and connectors which can be a challenge for inexperienced installers. Individual shielding is also absent as the twisted pairs come as a bundle leaving the whole bundle to be shielded.
