Many users have praised the pedals for their ability to provide a secure footing, even during intense rides that involve high cadences and challenging terrains. Feedback indicates that riders experience a remarkable level of confidence while using these pedals, which prevents common issues like shin strikes. The wide platform is well-received, offering both comfort and control, which can greatly enhance the riding experience. Aesthetics have also been noted, with customers admiring the stylish design options available. The color choice, particularly the "Oil Slick" variant, has attracted positive remarks, even from those not typically engaged in mountain biking. These pedals seem to blend functionality with visual appeal, appealing to riders looking for both performance and style. However, potential buyers should be aware of some drawbacks highlighted in the reviews. While the grip is excellent, the longer pins can lead to painful pedal strikes, especially for those who may not be well-acquainted with their use. Certain users have also reported issues with the durability of the pins, indicating that they may easily shear off or require replacement. Additionally, there have been complaints regarding the wear of bushings and maintenance challenges, with some riders reporting noise during usage. Overall, the DMR Vault Pedals are highly regarded in the mountain biking community for their grip, stability, and stylish appearance. They seem to be an excellent choice for serious riders willing to endure a brief learning curve and possible maintenance inconveniences for superior performance. **
