The Columbia Men's Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown Hooded Jacket is a combination of goose down and Omni-heat insulation. It is not waterproof but a bit repellent, and not packable into a pocket. The jacket is fitted, so it's best to go for a size up. It has a zip pocket inside for documents, but the hood does not stow away, which is its only flaw. The jacket is lightweight, warm, and perfect for autumn weather. There are two fleece-lined pockets for your hands, and two waist drawstrings that keep the cold out. The pockets and the main zipper use YKK zippers that work smoothly. The jacket has an inside chest pocket on the left side to fit smartphones easily. The Columbia Men's Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown Hooded Jacket is excellent for outside use, but it can get too warm inside. It is not as warm as expected, and the down feathers have occasion to come out through the outer shell. For value, it is a great purchase, and a great Christmas gift for your loved ones. Overall, it is a perfect lightweight, warm, and quality jacket.
